Unlike many syrups and sugars, maple syrup is 100% natural and completely unrefined-retaining all the sap's nutritional elements as it's transformed into syrup. Best of all, maple syrup is made up of vitamins and nutrients that are an essential part of a daily diet.
 
Add flavor to your favorite recipes by replacing refined white sugar with pure maple syrup. 1 1/3 cup of maple syrup or 1 cup of maple sugar replaces 1 cup of white sugar. When using maple syrup, reduce the amount of liquid in recipes by 1/3 cup.
