frontier has to notch spices. I like their cumin and fair trade ceylon cinnamon. this chipotle chili pepper spice is hot, very hot, overpowering even. it is not a typical plain, non blended, chili powder, used to enhance flavors, which was what I was looking for. If your into super hot this could be for you.

Excellent product - a little goes a long way with this spice. It does have some heat! I like to use this product to make enchilada sauce and to add a smokey kick to homemade taco seasoning, vegetables, and casseroles.
